RE: INFORMATIONAL ADVISORY - SEVERE STORM APPROACHING UK - EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION
This advisory has been sent to provide you with information about the severe storm approaching the UK and how to contact us in an emergency during a power outage.
As you may already know, a powerful storm system is approaching England and Wales. The storm is expected to bring wind gusts over 80mph, which can cause power outages.
We do not anticipate the storm will cause any problems at our UK datacenter. The facility has plenty of backup generator power and redundant connectivity. However, residents of the affected areas may be left without power and/or Internet access.
We have setup a SMS interface to the CNS Helpdesk so that subscribers affected by the storm can contact us. If you have an urgent issue, are affected by the storm and unable to reach our helpdesk through the web, please send a SMS to +44.1872-672038. Upon receipt, CNS will acknowledge your message and interact through SMS to assist you. For faster assistance, please include your email address in the message.
Please - write this number down now. You may not have power later to read it on your computer.
Otherwise, to open a support ticket, please logon to your CNS control panel and click "helpdesk" at the top. then, submit a ticket.
