Q: My Internet connection is slow. How is the virtual desktop fast? A: It seems fast because the Internet connection between the virtual desktop and the Internet is extremely fast. Your computer is merely a terminal (i.e. a screen, keyboard and sound), it doesn't take a lot of bandwidth or even CPU to run. There is a second life for old laptops!
