Q: How do I start or reboot my VM (Virtual Machine) or Trader's VPS (Virtual Private Server)?

Using the Service Control Panel:

  1. Login to the Client Area
  2. Click on "My Products & Services"
  3. Scroll down, you will find the VM controls

Manually reboot your VPS: Reboot from inside the VM.

  1. Click "Start", then click "Shutdown"
  2. In the "Shut Down Windows" window, under "What do you want the computer to do?", select "Restart" from the drop-down menu
  3. Under the "Shutdown Event Tracker" section either select an option in the "Option" drop-down or enter a comment in the "Comment" box
  4. Then click OK to restart your VPS

Please wait 1-3 minutes before reconnecting to your VPS. If it is down any longer than that please open a support ticket and we will take a look at your VPS for you. Also if you require us to do the reboot for you do not hesitate to open a support ticket with the Help Desk.
