Q: How do I run DealBook 360? It does not run when I start it. A: In order to run DealBook 360, it is first necessary to disable DEP. Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is a set of hardware and software technologies that perform additional checks on memory to help prevent malicious code from running on a system. To disable DEP for DealBook 360, please follow these steps from your Virtual Desktop: Start->Control Panel->System Advanced Tab Click 'settings' in the Performance area (the top button) Data Execution Prevention Tab Select the radio button 'Turn on DEP for all programs and services, except those I select' Click Add Navigate to the DealBookFX.exe, which is probably located in C:\Program Files\DealBook 360 Click Ok->ok DealBook 360 will now operate. Please test and open a support ticket if you require additional assistance. NOTE: The latest release of DealBook 360 can be downloaded from this page: http://www.gftforex.com/software/ | |
