Autoboot crashes with "Cannot load Counter Name data because an invalid index"

Autoboot will crash if the Windows performance counters are broken. To resolve, repair the Windows performance counters by entering the following into a command prompt:

lodctr /R

lodctr "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.20506\corperfmonsymbols.ini"

Note that path may be differ regarding to installed .NET version.
